Abilene TX – Honeybees Volleyball played two games today in the Bev Ball Tournament in Abilene. The Bees fell short 0-2 (10-25, 17,25) to Midland in the first match of the day. Stephenville bounced back in the second match,  defeating TCLA 2-0 (25-17, 25-16). Burleson, TX — On Tuesday, the Honeybees traveled to Burleson to face Class 5-A Burleson. The Bees fell in straight sets, 0-3. Stephenville falls to 0-2 on the season but look to pick up some wins this weekend as the participate in the Bev Ball Tournament in Abilene starting on Thursday, August 14.

Stephenville, TX – Stephenville opened the volleyball season hosting Granbury in Gandy Gymnasium.  The Honeybees fell 3-2 in the contest. Stephenville took the first set (25-21). fell in the second and third sets (20-25, 22-25) won the fourth (25-18) and fell just short in the fifth (13-15).  The Bees travel to Burleson on Tuesday to face Burleson Centennial, then to Abilene over the weekend.
