You’re Invited to Kick Off the 2026 Football Season

Football season is quickly sweeping in, and Yellow Jacket fans have a chance to help send the team onto the field in style.

The Stephenville High School Yellow Jackets are inviting the community to the official kickoff of the 2026 football season on Monday, August 3. Fans are encouraged to bring their shakers, school spirit, and plenty of energy as they cheer on the Jackets as the official season kickoff.

Supporters should gather outside the Green Room exit doors by 6:15 a.m., where the team will make its entrance onto the field promptly at 6:30 a.m.

It’s a great opportunity for students, parents, alumni, and the Stephenville community to show the players they’re behind them as preparations begin for another exciting season of Yellow Jacket football.

Let’s pack the walkway, make some noise, and help launch what promises to be another action-packed year on the gridiron.
