Stephenville Tennis Serves Up Another Bi-District Championship

GRANBURY TX — The Honeybees and Yellow Jackets traveled down the road to Granbury for a neutral-site Bi-District matchup against the Eagle Mountain High School Knights. Stephenville came away victorious with an 11-6 win, securing the program’s third consecutive Bi-District championship.

The Honeybees once again swept their matches, powering Stephenville to the team title. In addition to wins across all singles matches, the Bees’ dominant performance in doubles came from Cordes/Cortez (6-0, 6-0), Heller/Berry (6-3, 6-3), and Post/Horton (6-1, 6-2).

On the boys side for the Jackets, the doubles team of Kannan/Brigman ( 7-5, 6-0) victory. Both Kannan and Brigman also picked victories in singles to round out a great day for Stephenville.

Next up, the Area 1 matchup between Stephenville and Vernon will be played in Wichita Falls on Thursday, October 9th. The exact time and location in Wichita Falls are still to be determined.
