Stephenville Sets a Good Pace Day 1 at Graham

Graham, TX – After the first day of competition at the District Track and Field Meet in Graham, the Stephenville Boys Varsity Track Team leads the standings with 70 points, well ahead of Graham in second place with 25 points.
On the girls’ side, the Honeybees are in third place in the 6-4A District Meet with 21.5 points, trailing Brownwood (70 points) and Graham (25 points).

3200-Meter Run (Girls): Freshman Miley Magin placed fifth with a time of 12:46.05, earning 2 points for Stephenville.

3200-Meter Run (Boys): Sophomore Jacoby Tooley secured first place with a time of 10:11.05, adding 10 points for the Jackets.

Senior Madison Rust cleared 10’6″ to finish second, earning 8 points.

Freshman Halle Rust vaulted 9’0″, placing fifth and contributing 2 points.
