Stephenville Battles Past China Spring

Gandy Gymnasium was full of energy Tuesday night as the Honeybees battled the China Spring Cougars, who are ranked No. 11 in Class 4A. Despite dropping the opening set, Stephenville battled back to defeat the Cougars 3-1 (24-26, 25-20, 25-21, 25-16) and pull off the upset.

Tuesday’s big win improves the Honeybees season record to 14-13. The Bees will travel to Boyd on Tuesday, September 15, to face the Yellow Jackets, with first serve scheduled for 5:30 p.m.
