State 7-on-7 Tournament Begins Thursday

The Stephenville Yellow Jackets take the field tomorrow, June 25, as they begin their quest for a Dave Campbell’s Texas Football 7-on-7 State Championship.

Stephenville will compete in Division II, Pool G alongside Corpus Christi Miller, Decatur, and Hamshire-Fannett. The Jackets earned their trip to College Station after an impressive undefeated run through the Brownwood State Qualifier earlier this month.

Pool play begins Thursday, with each team guaranteed three games. Unlike traditional tournament formats, every team will advance out of pool play and into Friday’s Championship Bracket, giving all participants a chance to compete for a state title.

The Yellow Jackets will look to build momentum throughout Thursday’s slate before returning Friday morning for the Division II Championship Bracket.
