SHS Tennis Hosts First Match on New Courts

Stephenville TX –  Stephenville team tennis hosted their first home match today at the new SISD Tennis Courts.  The Bees and Jackets took on Peaster who is ranked in the top 20 in class 4A.  Despite the top ranking of their opponent, the Bees won five of the matches to bring the final score to 5-14.  Even though the Jackets didn’t post any wins, they fought hard and played some close matches.

Team Tennis will travel to Alvarado on Tuesday for one last match before district play begins.  Stephenville will host the district opener against Gatesville on Tuesday, September 2nd.  Come out and support these athletes at the brand new Stephenville tennis facility.
