Parker’s Bat Fuels the Fire as Bees Top Brownwood

Stephenville TX – Stephenville’s Macy Parker had an outstanding night at the plate, driving in four runs on three hits to help lift the Bees over rival Brownwood, 8-5.
The Lady Lions got on the board first in the top of the first inning but Stephenville answered in the bottom of the second scoring six runs on five hits. Parker drove in two of her four RBI’s in that inning.
Aislyn Willis got things started in the second with a single, and advanced to third on an error. Molly Hatton followed with a walk, Ally Ellibee singled to right field plating Willis and advancing Hatton to third. Next up, Mattie-Lynn Dunnam added one with an RBI single to left field. Parker kept the rally going with a two run single to center , and Kenzi Black capped the inning off with a base hit the scored Parker.
Black, Ellibee, Dunnam and Parker each had multiple hits for Stephenville.
The Honeybees hit the road to Mineral Wells on Tuesday, April 14, to face the Lady Rams, first pitch at 5:00 p.m.
