Parker Breaks Up No-Hitter as Bees Fall to Brock

Stephenville, TX (Photos by Tanisha Everett, Story by Pam Smith) – Macy Parker was 1 for 3 with an RBI and a base hit to break up the no-hit bid by the Lady Eagles. The Stephenville Honeybees lost Brock 1-10, leaving them undefeated for the season. Pinch hitter, Marin Hill and Parker each had one hit for Stephenville. The Bees scored their only run after Jayci Smith walked. Hill doubled to move pinch runner Jasmine Rogers to third then a ground ball by Parker sends Rogers home for the lone score of the night by Stephenville.

Brock was strong in the circle giving up two hits, two walks and allowing only one run while striking out eight.

Stephenville travels to Brownwood on Friday to take on the Lady Lions  at 6:30.
