Jackets Win Bi-District In Nail Biter

Godley TX – The Bi-District Championship game between Stephenville and Alvarado came down to penalty kicks with Stephenville coming out on top 2-2 (4-4, 3-2).

With Stephenville down 2-0 in the second half of play, Rowdy Taylor and Caleb Smith scored goals leaving the score was tied at the end of regulation, 2-2.  After two scoreless ten minute overtime periods, it came down to penalty kicks.  The first five sets of penalty kicks, Stephenville and Alvarado each made four and missed one, making it 4-4.  In the second set, the Jackets outscored the Indians 3-2, for the victory.
