Jackets Take Two in Day Two of Tourney

Game 1
Stephenville Run Rules Southwest
Crowley—Six unearned runs off of six Fort Worth Southwest errors propelled the Jackets to a 10-0 win on Friday morning. Eve Campos would go 2/3 with a triple and two RBI’s. Cutter Pack and Mason Weyers would also have two hits each. Jayden Ferguson and Tanner Smith would join Campos with 2 RBI’s.
Pitchers Jace Brooks and Cutter Pack combined for the shutout.
Stephenville is now 6-2-2 and will play Dallas Skyline later in the day as the Crowley Tournament continues.


Game 2
Ten Hits Lead to Stephenville Win
Crowley—The Jackets scored in every inning of their contest with Dallas Skyline. With a final score of 6-3, Stephenville would remain undefeated in the Crowley Tournament.
Stephenville banged-out ten hits including a double and a triple from Mason Weyers. Jayden Ferguson and Eve Campos would each have two hits. Tanner Smith, Cooper Rudd and Jace Brooks would all have one.
Gunner Stone would go four innings in the start and get the win. Tanner Smith got the save, recording the final three Skyline outs.
The Jackets are now 7-2-2 and finish up the tournament on Saturday versus Molina.
