Jackets Punch Ticket to State 7-on-7 Tournament

Brownwood, TX – The Stephenville Yellow Jackets are headed back to the State 7-on-7 Tournament after a dominant performance at the Brownwood State Qualifying Tournament on Saturday.
Stephenville rolled through pool play undefeated, showcasing an explosive offense and a stingy defense on their way to earning a state tournament berth.
The Jackets opened the day with a convincing 34-7 victory over Glen Rose before taking down Wall 31-7 in their second matchup. Stephenville’s offense continued to fire on all cylinders in a 45-18 win over McGregor, and the defense capped off the day with a shutout, defeating Jim Ned 33-0.
