Jackets Move to 3-0 with Win at Godley

Godley– Brighton DeVivo, have a day! The senior receiver had four touchdowns on his first four catches Friday night as Stephenville beat Godley 45-6. Junior QB Trot Jordan would return from injury to go 14/22 for six touchdowns and no interceptions.

The War Dog defense would flex again this week only allowing six points late after the game was well decided. Godley’s offense was held to 119 yards passing and 81 yards rushing. Stephenville’s defense is averaging 4.33 points allowed per game through the first three.

The state’s number three ranked Jackets in Class 4A Div 1, return to Stephenville for Homecoming next Friday night as Abilene Wylie comes to town. Kickoff is set for 7:30pm.
