Jackets Dedicate New Stadium with Home Opener

Stephenville Superintendent Eric Cederstrom, pictured above, was helping with final cleanup before the crowds arrived to the new stadium.

Stephenville, TX– Art Briles and Mike Copeland were on hand with their families for a pregame announcement observing the first football game at Mike Copeland Field at Art Briles Stadium. The Jackets would host Everman and would score often, winning 45-0. There was a one hour rain delay at the end of the first quarter and the game was eventually called after a second weather delay occurred midway through the fourth quarter.
