Jackets Answer with Late Goal to Win District

Stephenville– Brownwood scored with seven minutes remaining to tie the match 2-2. The Jackets would waste little time as two minutes later, Alex Saldana would find the back of the net for the go ahead goal and Stephenville held on for the 3-2 final. The win separates the Jackets from all the other 5-4A teams, giving them the district championship.

Stephenville must now wait two weeks for the Bi District round of the playoffs to begin. The Jackets will play Alvarado in the first round.
