Jackets Advance in Extra Time

Burleson, TX– It would take more than regulation to determine a Bi District winner in Stephenville’s match with Alvarado. Barely two minutes into extra time, tied 1-1, CJ Spellmeier would find the back of the net to give the Jackets the lead. Stephenville would make it stand by surviving the remainder of extra time to win 2-1. Credit Jacket Keeper Damian Campos with multiple game-saving stops in the extra time.

Stephenville’s first goal of the night came from Caleb Smith.

The Jackets will now move to the Area Round versus Lake Dallas. The Falcons won their Bi District match over Fort Worth Southwest 9-1. The match will take place Tuesday evening in Springtown. The kickoff will be 7:30pm following the Bees’ game.
