Honeybees Thursday Recap from Corpus Christi

Corpus Christi TX – In the first game of The Battle of the Bay Tournament in Corpus Christi, the Bees faced host, Calallen High School, defeating the Lady Wildcats 37-16.  Leading the way for the Honeybees was Brinley Hall who posted 10 points, followed by Iza Vandalsem with 7, Laynee Hodges and Brooklyn Hardin each scored 6 points.  Kezlyn Jones added 3 points, Taylor Berry 2, Audrey McClendon 2 and Maddie Manuel 1.

Game 2 – Stephenville defeated Corpus Christi Carroll 44-23 in game 2 today in Corpus Christi to make it to the semifinals of the tournament.  Brinley Hall once again led the team in scoring with 14 points.  She was followed by Brooklyn Hardin 10, Iza Vandalsem 9, Laynee Hodges 4, Audrey McClendon 3, Olivia Cortez 2, Riley Eason 1 and Kezlyn Jones 1.

Stephenville moves to 7-2 on the season and into the semifinals tomorrow at 4:30.
