Honeybees Take Down Lady Blues in District Home Opener

Stephenville TX – The Stephenville Honeybees opened district with a solid 12-6, win over the Graham Lady Blues, collecting eleven hits on the night.

Marin Hill lead the charge at the plate for Stephenville, driving in four runs on three hits.  She doubled in the first and fifth innings, driving a in a run each  time and homered to left field in the sixth plating two more.

The trio of Macy Parker, Maddie Manuel and Fallan Everett each went 2-3 at the plate for Stephenville.  Parker drove in three runs on a triple, a double and a sacrifice fly.   Manuel added two RBI’s on a single in the fourth to give Stephenville the lead 5-4, then in the sixth inning she launched a homerun to center field adding one.

Besides her strong performance at the place, Hill also threw a complete game in the circle for the Honeybees.

Stephenville is now 1-0 in district play and will host Brock Wednesday, March 18, first pitch at 2:00 p.m.
