Honeybees Successful at First Tournament of the Season

Cuero TX – Your Stephenville Honeybees volleyball team won the gold bracket today in the Cuero Tournament.  Thursday and Friday were pool play where the Bees went 6-0 against opponents, Port Isbel, Halletsville, Corpus Christi Calallen, Yoakum, Beeville and Newman-Smith.

In bracket play  today, Stephenville faced Hunstville winning 2-0 (25-19, 25-12), Industrial 2-1 (18-25, 25-21, and 25-17), the final match of the day was against Beeville with a score of 2-1 (15-25, 25-20 and 25-23),  to secure the gold bracket championship.  Tournament play continues next weekend in Granbury.
