Honeybees Split Games on Thursday in Saginaw Tourney

Saginaw TX – Stephenville Honeybees softball went 1-1, today in the Saginaw tournament.  In game one, the Bees faced Decatur.  It was all Bees until the Lady Eagles plated one run in the third.  Then is the fourth inning, Decatur scored five runs, defeating the Bees 6-5.  Molly Hatton, Ally Ellibee, Ava Williams, Presley Tally, Mattie-Lynn Dunnam and Fallan Everett each collected hits for Stephenville.

In game two, the Bees bounced back defeating the Leveland Loboettes 7-1.  Marin Hill delivered an outstanding performance in the circle, allowing one run on three hits, while walking one and striking out 13.  Williams, Hill, Tally and Aislyn Willis each two hits in the game.

Stephenville will be back in Saginaw on Friday.  Stay tuned for updates.
