Honeybees Softball Topples Lobos in Season Opener

Stephenville TX – Opening their season at home on Monday, the Stephenville Honeybees outscored the Cisco Lobos 10-6.  Their offense ran on all cylinders with ten runs on eight hits.

Fallan Everett tied the game in the fifth inning on a three run homerun, she was 2 for 3 with three RBI’s and two runs scored. In addition to Everett, Mattie-Lynn Dunham and Ava Williams also collected two hits each on the night.

Marin Hill started in the circle for Stephenville, going five innings, striking out nine and walking two.  Dunham moved from short stop to relieve Hill in the final innings.
