Honeybees Friday Recap from Fredericksburg

Fredericksburg TX – In the contest with Christoval, Stephenville fell 44-41, after coming back in the 4th quarter but couldn’t hold the lead. Brinley Hall led the Bees with 17 points, followed by Brooklyn Hardin with 12, Olivia Cortez with 5, Iza Valdalsem 4, Taylor Berry 2 and Laynee Hodges 1.

They rebounded in the next game, defeating Burnet 59-31.  Once again Hall led scoring for Stephenville with 18, Hardin and Berry had 11 each, Iza Vandalsem 6, Riley Eason 4, Audrey McClendon 4, Laynee Hodges 3 and Maddie Manuel 3.

This moves the Honeybees to 11-4 over.  They take on Brazoswood Saturday at 8 a.m. in the round robin game of the tournament.
