Honeybees Fall Short to Brownwood

Stephenville, TX – The Stephenville Honeybees fell to the Brownwood Lady Lions 5-1 in a tough matchup Tuesday night. Presley Gaitan led the way offensively with a double and three total bases while also pitching a complete game, going all seven innings in the circle. Reese Haggard reached base after being hit by a pitch and showcased her speed with a stolen base, joined by Emma Rose Villegas, who also swiped a bag. Meg McGregor added a base hit but was caught stealing in a close play.

The Honeybees will look to bounce back Friday at 5:00 p.m. when they take on Mineral Wells.
