Graham Sweeps Jackets

The Jackets couldn’t get the hit when needed as the team went 0/6 with runners in scoring position in a 2-0 loss to Graham. The loss puts the Jackets in dire position as far as making the playoffs. With Brownwood also losing tonight, the Jackets will need to at least win one next week versus Brock and the Lions get swept by Mineral Wells.

Stephenville starter Gabe Elms had a strong outing, going the complete game and giving up no earned runs. The two runs for Graham would score off of a passed ball in the 4th inning and an error factoring into a run in the 5th. Mason Weyers and Cooper Heller each had two hits, both having a double. They were the only Jackets to have hits on the night.

The final district series of the season will start Tuesday night in Brock. First pitch is set for 7pm.
