Ferguson Goes Yard in Game One Win in Oklahoma Tourney

Ryder Baldwin pitched a complete game shutout and Jayden Ferguson hit his first varsity home run to pace the Jackets to a 3-0 win over Durant High School. The contest played in Idabel was game one for Stephenville in the Oklahoma Tournament.

Mason Weyers scored the other two runs after reaching base with 2 walks and a single. The Jackets collected eight hits with Jace Brooks going three for three with a double. RBI’s were provided by Cade Whitehead, Cutter Pack and Ferguson’s round-tripper. Gunner Stone had the other hit for Stephenville.

The tournament moves locations for the next game later today, taking place at Broken Bow against McAlester. First pitch is scheduled for 4:30pm.
