Bees Top 6-A Abilene Cooper in Defensive Battle

Abilene TX – Tuesday’s battle on the hardwood proved successful to Stephenville as the Honeybees defeat class 6-A Abilene Cooper 30-20.  This low scoring affair was a defensive battle all night with Stephenville coming out on top.  Leading scorer for Stephenville was Brooklyn Hardin who posted 11 points, followed by Iza Vandalsem with 7. Rounding out the scoring was Laynee Hodges 4, Brinley Hall 4, Olivia Cortez 2, and Taylor Berry with 2.

Tuesday’s win moves the Bees to 10-2 on the season.  On the schedule next for the Bees is the 11th Annual Battlin Billie Classic in Fredericksburg over the weekend.  Ville Sport will have daily recaps from Fredericksburg.
