Bees Second in Silver Bracket, Rose Earns All-Tournament Honors

Nocona TX – The Stephenville Honeybees battled their way to the Silver Bracket Championship on Saturday, finishing as runners-up falling to district foe Brock in the championship match.

In the opening match, Stephenville defeated Alvord 2-0 (25-21, 25-19). Tolar made the second match a battle, but the Bees battled to secure the victory 2-0 (25-20, 30-29, 25-23).

The Bees advanced to the Silver Bracket Championship to face Brock. Stephenville fell 0-2 (14-25, 14-25) to finish second in the bracket.

 

Stephenville improves to 13-12 on the season.

Victory Rose was named to the All-Tournament Team for her outstanding performance throughout the tournament.
