Bees & Jackets fall to Glen Rose

It was a tough night on the court for Stephenville in a doubleheader matchup against Glen Rose.

The Honeybees battled down to the final buzzer but came up just short, falling 34–33 in a nail-biter finish.

The Bees were led in scoring by Taylor Berry and Brinley Hall, each with 9 points. Audrey McClendon had 8, Brooklyn Hardin with 4 and Laynee Hodges with 3.

The Yellow Jackets fought hard as well but couldn’t close the gap, dropping their matchup 76–60.

The Jackets were led in scoring on an impressive night by Raiden Moody with 23 points. Other scorers for the Jackets were Austin Hardin, Eli Espinoza and Aiden Johnson each with 7, Rush Reisman and Dillinger Thiebaud with 6, PJ Greer with 3 and Langston Golden with 1.

Both teams go on the road for a scheduled double-header in Brock on Tuesday evening. Ville Sports will have all the updates as the Honeybees and Yellow Jackets continue district play.
