Bees and Jackets Cross Country Teams Dominate Glen Rose Invitational

Glen Rose TX – Stephenville High School Cross Country teams made some noise today at the Glen Rose Invitational by claiming 1st place in both the girls and boys divisions on a very difficult course. The Bees were lead by Halle Rust and the Jackets by Jacoby Tooley, each running the fastest time of the meet in their divisions
Stephenville Honeybees placed three runners in the top ten lead by Halle Rust in 1st place with a time of 13:16.68. Miley Magin placed 6th with 14:14.86, Magin was followed closely by Bellamy Mcevoy who finished in 7th place with a time of 14:15.91.

Stephenville Yellow Jackets placed two runners, Jacoby Tolley and Hayden Bailey. Tooley blazed past the competition for 1st place with a time of 17:20.75, leaving the second place competitor almost a whole second behind him. Bailey secured 10th place for Stephenville recording a time of 19:24.62
Stephenville Cross Country teams will compete in the Haltom Buffalo Stampede on Thursday, September 11th in Haltom City.
