Bees 2-0 in Day One of Honeybee Classic

Stephenville opened Day One of the Honeybee Classic with a 2-0 record.

In their first matchup against Breckenridge, the Honeybees explosive offense lifted them to a 12-2 victory over the Buckaroos. Mattie-Lynn Dunnam led the Bees, going 3-2 with a triple, while Macy Parker drove in three runs.

Game two was a back-and-forth battle, but Stephenville came out on top with a 6-3 win. In the bottom of the third inning, Marin Hill launched a home run to center field to give the Honeybees the lead, which they would hold for the remainder of the game.

Stephenville returns to action Friday at the Honeybee Classic, playing at 8:30 a.m. and 11:50 a.m. at the Honeybee Softball Complex.
