In a desperately needed win on Tuesday, the Jacket bats would come to life with 13 hits. This led to a 7-4 victory over Glen Rose. A 2-2 tie entering the bottom of the fifth would see Stephenville score two runs and then three more in the sixth. Cutter Pack knocked in four runs to expand his team lead of RBI’s to 19 and Ryder Baldwin got the win, pitching in relief.

Offensively, the Jackets had several stellar performances. Mason Weyers went 2/3 with a triple and an RBI. Tanner Smith went 3/3 with an RBI and Cooper Rudd went 2/3. Also with hits were Gunner Stone, Cade Whitehead, Jayden Ferguson (on a 12 pitch at bat) and Cooper Heller.

Eve Campos got the start going three and a third innings. He allowed two runs. Baldwin went two and two-thirds allowing two runs (one earned) and Gabe Elms got the final three outs in relief.

Stephenville moves into a three-way tie for third with Brownwood and Graham. Each team is now 2-3 in district. Even though Stephenville has three losses, the deficit in those three games is only a total of four runs. The Jackets go for the sweep on Friday night in Glen Rose. First pitch is scheduled for 7pm.
