Stephenville Baseball tops Gatesville

Stephenville, TX— Yellow Jacket starting pitcher Gunner Stone threw 5 1/3 innings, allowing one earned run and got the win in Stephenville’s second game of the Leslie Hughes invitational at the James T. Young Baseball Field. The Jackets would open up a tight game, leading 1-0, in the 5^th when they plated five runs. Stephenville would hold on for a 6-2 final.

Cutter Pack would go three for three at the plate with Mason Weyers going two for three. Pack and Everardo Campos would each have doubles. Weyers, Stone, Cade Whitehead and Jace Brooks would each have an RBI.

The Jackets’ record improved to 2-1-1. Stephenville’s next match-up will be Grandview, continuing the home Leslie Hughes Invitational.
