Ville Sports Week Ahead

February 16–21

It’s a packed week in the Ville as postseason basketball tips off, softball heads south for tournament play, and spring sports hit full stride. Here’s how the Honeybees and Yellow Jackets stack up this week.

Monday, February 16

Yellow Jacket Baseball opens the week on the road with a 5:00 PM first pitch at Boyd High School as the Jackets continue early-season play.

Tuesday, February 17 – A Big Night in the Ville

Tuesday is loaded across multiple sports.

Soccer hosts Brownwood with the Honeybees taking the field at 5:00 PM, followed by the Yellow Jackets at 7:00 PM.

Honeybee Softball defends home turf against Alvarado High School with a 6:30 PM first pitch.

On the hardwood, Yellow Jacket Basketball hosts Graham for a 5:00 PM tip-off.

And the postseason begins for Honeybee Basketball. The Bees open playoff action against Frenship Memorial at Moody Coliseum on the campus of Abilene Christian University. Tip-off is set for 6:30 PM as Stephenville looks to make a strong postseason run.

Thursday, February 19

Track & Field season officially gets rolling as both Honeybee and Yellow Jacket teams compete at the Brock Relays beginning at 10:00 AM.

Honeybee Softball travels to Corpus Christi for a three-day tournament, with first pitch set for 9:00 AM.

Friday, February 20

Yellow Jacket Golf competes in the Class 4A Region 1 Preview at Shadow Hills Golf Course in Lubbock beginning at 8:30 AM.

Honeybee Softball continues tournament play in Corpus Christi with another 9:00 AM start.

Yellow Jacket Baseball hosts Marble Falls for a 7:00 PM game.

Soccer returns home as both teams host Little River Academy — the Honeybees kick off at 5:00 PM, followed by the Yellow Jackets at 7:00 PM.

Saturday, February 21

Honeybee Softball wraps up tournament action in Corpus Christi with a 9:00 AM start.

Yellow Jacket Baseball closes out the week with a 12:00 PM matchup against Marble Falls.

From playoff basketball to tournament diamonds and spring relays, it’s another full week to show up and support Stephenville athletics.
