Slow Start Proves Costly for Bees

Stephenville TX – Stephenville Honeybees came up short for the first time on Tuesday as they fell to the Tolar Lady Rattlers at home 36-47.  Despite a scoring surge in the remaining quarters, the deficit was too much to overcome.

Once again, leading the way for Stephenville in scoring was Brooklyn Hardin tallying 16 points.  She was followed by Brinley Hall with 8, Audrey McClendon 5, Iza Vandalsem 4, Taylor Berry 2 and Kezlyn Jones with 1.

Tolar was led by Macy Price with 16, Jaycee Jones 14, Atley Kolb 11 and Allie Terrell 7.

Stephenville falls to 4-1 on the season but looks to bounce back Tuesday, November 25th, in Venus as they take on the Lady Bulldogs at 1:30.
