Strong District Showing for Stephenville Cross Country Teams

Brock TX – Stephenville Cross Country Teams had a strong performance at the District 6-4A Cross Country Meet in Brock this morning with the Jackets bringing home the silver medal and the Honeybees the bronze.

Individually for the Bees, Halle Rust was District Champion posting a time of 11:54.15.  Bellamy Mcevoy finished in 5th place (12:29.76), Miley Magin in 15th (13:14.47), and   Rebekah Evans in 20th (13:30.17) .

On the boys side for the Jackets, District Champion was Jacoby Tooley with a time of  15:37.98.  Hayden Bailey finished in 4th place (17:28.27), Jordan Barnes 9th (17:53.21), Caleb Singleton 13th (18:07.73), Garrett Mader (18:38.25) and rounding out the top 20, Houston Herbst 18th (18:38.77).

The teams will compete at the Region 1 meet on October 21st, at Mae Simmons Park on Lubbock.
